Today is really hot here! I mean it; more than 35 degree and humid.
I checked my bits&pieces pics from July and August, I came up with these. Sometimes I take so many
pictures and hardly I edited them all.

Now it's only 2 weeks left for our next vacation, NYC, yay!

I wish a happy but not humid thursday for you all! :)

LIFE

* What do you do for a living?

I am currently working as Creative Web manager for American Apparel.

* What are the 3 specific things you like to do?
-I love to hunt for treasures in thrift stores,
-I love to walk in the forest after the rain, just for the smell and the silence,
-I love to travel, try new food.

* Which movie you never get bored of watching?
Dolls by Takeshi Kitano.

* Which song makes you happy?
The Beatles always!

* What are your inspirations in life?
I dream to create my own magazine or open a business with a friend. 

STYLE

* How do you describe your style?
It is hard to say, I guess classis and minimal at the same type. But sometimes I am breaking my rules for 
colorful prints too…

*  If your style is a movie character who would she/he be?
Rosanna Arquette in Le Grand Bleu.

* If you have a color palette, which colors you put together to create your style?
Grey – white – blue – black then sometimes nude, pink and red.

CITY

* Where do you live right now?
I live in Los Angeles, California.

* What are the 3 local suggestions for people who want to visit your neighborhood?
Figaro Café for food, Play Clothes for vintage shopping, the Griffith Observatory for the view.

* Which city do you want to live for the future?
Paris maybe?

Time to return back home; Istanbul

When we got to Mostar, we walked through to the old town to see "Mostar Bridge". This bridge is so
nostalgic and beautiful, but around this bridge there are many tourists. We escaped being tourists as always
and we took a walk around back streets of Mostar. It was good to see how local people live, and how
these buildings are old and beautiful in a strange way... I saw many war bullet marks on the walls of houses
as much as in Sarajevo.

Second day, we attended a tour to Kravice Falls for swimming and meeting new people from U.K,
Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, Canada, United States and Australia as I remember. I had the most
wonderful moments when I swam in the freezing river, talked with people and ate the most delicious
Bosnian meat meals! Also we had a chance to see Blagaj with this tour.

When it came to return back home we took a train from Mostar to Sarajevo again then catched our
flight to Istanbul back. On train, I was so sleepy and hardly catched the views, but then I suddenly saw
an amazing river view popping out of the forest. It was so breathtaking that is worth to ruin my sleep :)

Mostar'a vardığımızda hemen merak ettiğimiz meşhur Mostar köprüsünü görmeye gittik. Köprü ve 
çevresinde büyük bir turist kalabalığı vardı. Köprüdeki görevimizi tamamladıktan sonra kalabalıktan kaçıp,
kendimizin Mostar'ın arka sokaklarına bıraktık. İnsanların nasıl yaşadığına ve nasıl mimarilerle 
çevrili olduklarına şahit olmak güzeldi. Ve yine Saraybosna'daki gibi mermi izleri çıkıp durdu karşıma... 
Bazen bir duvarda, bazen de bir evin yan cephesinde.

İkinci gün, hostelimizin (Miran Hostel) turuna katıldık, Kravice Falls başta olmak üzere Blagaj ve savaş
izlerini görebileceğimiz birçok yeri bir günde gezmek cazip geldi. Çünkü buralara ulaşım çok az... Kravice'nin
buz gibi suyunda yüzdüm, yeni insanlarla tanıştım ve inanılmaz lezzetli yemekler yedim.

Saraybosna'ya dönmek için trene bindiğimizde artık iyice yorulmuştum. Arada sırada gözümü açtığımda
karşıma çıkan muhteşem manzaralarla karşılaştım; üstteki sondan 3. fotoğraftaki gibi... En son gün, 
Saraybosna'da biraz zaman geçirip, uçak saatimizin gelmesini bekledik. İstanbul'a dönme vakti yaklaştıkça
bu ülkeyi terk etmenin biraz buruk bir hissi vardı içimde, içinden savaş geçmiş ama her yeri yemyeşil, huzurlu
kentlerin ülkesi Bosna...

One of the recent brands I've known is the white pepper. Its shoes, polka dots & check dresses

draw my attention this summer! Also I like its pastel colors on skirts since I'm really interested in this kind 

of colors so far.

Çünkü kafayı fena halde taktığım polka puantiyelerine, kareli elbiselere ve pastel tonlara yer verdikleri için :)

Some editorials are so good at stealing my heart!!! This editorial is one of those; taken by Lina Scheynius
for Zeit Magazine. Girls, lighting and the athmosphere of places are so amazing, reflecting my taste!

Young Frankk

I'm not a lover of jewels, but lately I'm interested in some geometric shaped jewels, Young Frankk is 

one of these brands which draw my attention. Their shapes & material are so good. Also this brand's

lookbook is worth to check out ;)

Çok fazla takı takmayı sevmem, bazen küpe ve kolye takmak dışında. Ama son zamanlarda özellikle

geometrik şekilli takılar çok dikkatimi çekiyor. Young Frankk de bunlardan biri, şekillerini, 

kullandıkları malzemeler ve sadeliğini sevdim. Lookbook una da göz atmaya değer ;)

ART (Sanat)

One building in Istanbul which is painted by Freedy Sam

I'm a fan of street art! Nowadays I'm working on an article about mural art, so I'm searching for more

artists who painted graffiti in my city as well. When I checked them out, I met Freedy Sam who is a street

artist from South Africa. I really like what he's doing!

Sokak sanatını çok severim. Siz de sever misiniz? O halde Freedy Sam'in işlerine bir göz atın.

Kendisi Güney Afrikalı bir sokak sanatçısı, geçenlerde Kadıköy Yeldeğirmeni'ndeki graffitisine

denk geldim ve bayıldım.

If you're into craft & design check Handmade in Moste blog out! They are two friends who are architects

and they renovated a beutiful old house, you can see more here. Also I like the way they use old & vintage

furniture and stuff in their working area. These girls are so inspirational!

Eğer tasarım ve iç mimari ilginizi çekiyorsa Handmade in Moste bloguna bakın derim! İki mimar

arkadaş bir araya gelip, yanlarından geçerken çok beğendikleri bir binayı restore etmişler ve içini

de yeniden şekillendirmişler, daha fazlası burada. Vintage mobilyaları kullanış şekillerini özellikle

çok ilham verici buldum.

If you're in Istanbul be sure to visit Yapi Kredi to see Gunduz Vassaf's Mostari exhibition. I can't wait to

see it because I've just returned from Mostar and I wonder his book which has the same title with the

exhibition.

Ağustos ayında İstanbul'daysanız Yapı Kredi (Taksim'deki) galerisine gidin ve Gündüz Vassaf'ın

Mostari Bir Bekçinin Günlüğü isimli sergisini kaçırmayın. Hikayesi beni çok etkiledi... Ayrıca

aynı ismi taşıyan kitabını da baya merak ettim, hazır Mostar'ı yeni ziyaret etmişken listeye ekledim

bu kitabı :)

Polka Cafe

In Kadıköy, there is a cute small cafe; Polka where I like to go often. You can find fresh homemade 

cakes and desserts, smoothie and herbal tea here. Also there are choices for dinner & breakfast at

the menu. Irish music (always) at background is fun!

Kadıköy'de gitmeyi sevdiğim kafelerden biri Polka Cafe. Taze ev kekleri, smoothieleri ve meyveli

çayları ile oturup sohbet edebileceğiniz küçük, sıcacık bir mekan. Ayrıca kahvaltı ve yemek

seçenekleri de var menüde. Bir de tabi arka planda olmazsa olmaz İrlanda müziği :)

MOVIE (Film)

A Single Man

You know Tom Ford no doubt! If you didn't see his movie; A Single Man  yet you should do asap!

Scenes are so deeply artistic and the costumes too as you guess :) Scenario is a little down & sad but still 

I like this movie so so much!

Tom Ford'u biliyorsunuz, peki A Single Man filmini izlediniz mi? Eğer izlemediyseniz hemen 

izleyin, sahneleri, çekim açıları, kullanılan müzikler ve kostümler her şey şahane. Film senaryosu

her ne kadar biraz acıklı olsa da, ben filme bayıldım.
