Analog Diary: With a Brand New Camera

When we entered a new year, Türker bought me a new analog camera, Leica. It is easy to carry with

me anywhere I would go, so it's better to document sort of an "every" moment.

These are the very first results taken with this new baby.

Then the winter had arrived at last! One morning, we found everywhere in white, this was the thing

which we were waiting for so long time. 

Winter means that gathering inside, making cocktails for friends, watching lots of movies, and 

dreaming for the next season and even summer...

One night, we picked "While You Were Sleeping" movie to watch, and the main character wants to

go to Florence. Then we said, why we don't go to Florence on this May. Then we started to plan

our 1 month trip beginning from Rome (Italy) & Florence then ending in Sofia (Bulgaria).

My favorite season is not winter for sure unless it's snowy. But if it's white all around, I can't be more

happy and peaceful. Snow brings peace once a year, it covers all stresses, pollution, and worries.

It brings me a home feeling that I'm certainly getting in the mood for cooking, preparing hot drinks,

packaging the gifts and cuddling more. So I feel like that it's kind of a break to rush and busy days,

weeks and it's giving the blank for your life to see what happens, how you feel, and how you rest.

As I'm too slow to finish my summer posts yet, I want to give a break and share these winter vibe 

pics instead.

Time is fast. Especially for this year.

Winter Mood List ☃☃☃

3. Enjoying in bath tube with a glass of wine
4. Learning how to knit
5. More crafting and painting watercolor
6. Preparing cocktails with cognac & vodka
7. Playing card games with some friends
8. Planning a trip to Berlin
9. Designing a small collection for upcoming spring
10. Taking pictures of snow

Winter in Istanbul

I can't say I love winter, espeacially if I think about how much I adore summer season, but snow lets the winter be beautiful. White covers everything and I feel like I like winter season as well. This month I tried to explore my city again, like someone never have been here before. I took these pictures when I visited some streets and I looked for some new places.
