D.I.Y: Summer Smoothie ☾

What you need for a summer smoothie (for 2 person):

- A blender like this  (the easiest one to use and keep dregs/peels alive)
- 2 Bananas
- 3 tablespoons of yogurt
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 tea cup of raspberry or 6-10 strawberries
- 1 slice of watermelon

Mix all together with a blender. You can change the ingredients according to your taste.
Also it's a good idea to serve them with a piece of mint and a water with strawberry!

Thanks for my love; Türker for this recipe <3
Enjoy!

D.I.Y: Natural Peeling for Face

I've been very interested in natural peelings and beauty stuff lately so I want to share one of my favorites.
This a homemade peeling for faces which can be applied easily with these ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of maize flour
  • 2 teaspoons of rose water
  • 1 shredded lemon peel
Mix all ingredients, then apply to your face. Do a massage all over your face (except eyes and lips part of
course) for 3-4 minutes.
Then clean your face with mineral water! It's done! :)

**

D.I.Y: Mulled Wine Recipe

You will need:
1 bottle of wine
1/2 lemon
1 orange
1 apple peel
1 cup of water
50 gr. of sugar
1 root ginger
1 galingale
2 cinnamon sticks
A pinch of dried carnation
1 cardamon
A pinch of cardamon
1 nutmeg (break into pieces)

Preparation:
Add sugar into the water in a pot. Then add put all spices into the water. Boil until you get sure it boils up.
Take boiled water from the stove and leave it 15-20 minutes to make it cool.
Now it's time to put this spicy water into a new pot with wine. Add the half of lemon, apple peel and
orange (as you see in the picture below - dried carnations sticked on it) into this wine&spicy water mixture.
Cook it for a while but don't boil!!! It takes 4-5 minutes until it gets hot. Then take it and filter before
serving.
Enjoy!

P.S: Thanks to my love; Türker for the recipe ;) He's an expert of it.

D.I.Y: For your feet ♨

Hello! I'm pretty new about D.I.Y (do it yourself) things, but I search for what I should write for the next.
This time I have something about for your feet. I don't like to buy so many beauty stuff, instead I usually
use natural things for my body and face. This is a relaxing natural recipe for your tired feet!
It really works when you get exhausted after a long hard working or walking whole day.

Here it is:
*A pinch of lazmarin
*Half of a bottle of mineral water
*Flax seed oil (4-5 drops)
*2-3 drops lemon
--and if you want, add some natural rose water into this mix.

Put all of these into a hot water in a bowl and dip your feet in this water. Wait until water gets cold.
Then you feel that your feet have become softer and more rested. Enjoy!

**If you prefer, you can put some t-light candles around you when you do this DIY, and listen to
Iron & Wine songs at the back ;)

Yorgun ayaklara birebir gelen bir tarifi paylaşıyorum. Malzemelerin hepsi aktardan bulunabilir.

D.I.Y for your home!

I've never done a "do it yourself" here before but I decide to do more when I have ideas :)
Here are my home's handmade decors and frames. Especially in the following months, I'll do more
because I'll start to live with my bf officially and we want to reflect our home in a way we create!

1. Polaroids Androids: These are all our friends, we took polaroid pics of them with the same concept,
"holding something in your mouth" :) It was so fun and a little project of our home.

2. Where I've Been Map: I take a print out of a world mad then I stick it onto a thick plastic platform.
Then I start to pin the places I've been to on this map.

3. Memories Bottles: I keep some bottles and flowers especially when they have a special memory.
This flower remained from a special concert, and this bottle when I firstly tried brandy in Bosnia :)

4. Watercolor Painting: Me and my bf do watercolor of the places we've been to. It's a fun way to
see and remember our past, travels and memories. This one was taken in Paris, Moulin Rouge as you
guess and the turned into a painting by us.

5. Old Magazines Collage: I love doing collages, it's so relaxing and fun. This one was made with old
mags tearsheets. I hang it on my living room's wall.

6. Table Mat: My mum made this one. It's easy; you just only need to find a felt then cut it as if you want
a shape then make some flowers (with a mould shaper) to stick on it.
