Summer weekends with a yellow light

I like weekends as everybody does! This weekend, I took a long walk to some districts for picking

some garments & items for my upcoming giveaway, stay tuned :)

Then we ate pizza in our favorite café in Karaköy, at night met some Californian guys who visit Istanbul 

and danced a lot in open air bars. On sunday, we attended to LGBT Pride March in Istanbul, there

were so many people.

Now I start to count days for my first summer vacation in Bosnia Herzegovina, very excited to see

Mostar in there.

These pictures were taken 2 weeks ago, in my favorite historical train station and neighborhood.

Bu hafta sonu dolu dolu geçti. Sirkeci'de saatlerce gezdik, Eminönü'ne uğradık, yakında blogumda

olacak giveaway için parçalar aldım :) Komodor'da zeytinli-incirli pizza denedik. Gece de uzun zaman

sonra dışarıya çıkıp "normal" hayatlarımıza dönmüş gibi yaptık ve saatlerce Couch Surfing'den 

gelen insanlarla dans ettik. Pazar günü de TABİKİ LGBTT Onur Yürüyüşüne katıldık, fazlasıyla kalabalıktı!

Şu anda Bosna Hersek tatilime gün saymaya başladım. Mostar'ı görmeyi merakla bekliyorum.

Peaceful moments

We run with the flow, we are often in a rush, so it's not easy to exist in a moment peacefully and take a real

breath for a while. When we have our "present" time, we just waste it by taking pictures, sharing in instagram, and therefore we can't live within the moment as it's worth...

Last week, I visited one of the most peaceful places in Istanbul, I was kind of surprised when I saw how its residents were relaxed, happy and knew each other on the street. I really wanna live in this kind of area one day.

I tried to not ruining my moments, so I just only gave a specific time for taking pictures then I put it in my bag again :) Flowers were blooming on the trees such as a good news about coming season! I saw many little

details on historical buildings, tried to know the streets (and its names) by heart. It was such a beautiful day.

P.S: The building with green painted entrance was built in 1923 by Architecte C.P.S Imotas.

Hayatımız hep koşuşturma içinde geçerken, anlarımızı gerçekten yaşamak ve nefes alarak ona gerekli olan 

değeri vermek kolay olmuyor. Çoğu zaman anlarımızı "donduralım" derken o anın tadını kaçırabiliyoruz. 

Son zamanlarda olabildiğince bundan kaçınmaya çalışıyorum, anı yaşamak adına.

Geçtiğimiz hafta, Kuzguncuk'a gittik, uzun zamandır bu kadar huzurlu insanları, sokakları ve mekanları bir arada görmemiştim. Orada öylece kalmak, anı fotoğraflarda değil bu defa beynimde dondurmak istedim.

İleride böyle bir yerde yaşamayı düşledim; herkesin sokakta bir birine selam verdiği küçük, sıcacık bir yer...

Goodmorning! Time to write for a mag,

then head to the north of Istanbul for some driving practice:)

of course, we should take pictures too!

we get hungry and turn back to the center of Istanbul to eat some food in 'Unter-Karaköy'

see solo exhibiton of Christopher Thomas - NEW YORK SLEEPS

at night, we create our last orders of Papier Atelier

time to watch this movie; Paris when it sizzles

On saturday, I got ambitious about driving so we had to go to the North of Istanbul again! Except

driving practices, took some pictures too:) I visited "places to see" lists; such as a restaurant and

an exhibition of Christopher Thomas; New York Sleeps...

At night, we focused on our works for a customer of Papier Atelier. If you want to see

Saturday ended with a movie of Audrey Hepburn; Paris when it sizzles!

Cumartesi günü yine araba çalışmaya kuzeye gittik, bu defa daha iyiydim:) Sonrasında fotoğraflar

çekip, Karaköy'e uğradık, uzun zamandır görmek istediğim bir mekan vardı: Unter. Mekanın kendisi

süper olmasına rağmen, gürültü ve haddinden fazla küçük gelen porsiyonları sevmedim.

Giderseniz eğer yemeğe değil, barında bir Guinnes içmeye gidin bence...

Karaköy'e gitmişken; Elipsis'e uğrayıp Christopher Thomas sergisini görmemek olmaz dedim; 

instant polaroid kameralarla gece çekilmiş, ıssız ve insansız sokaklar çok etkiledi beni.

New York ve Venedik sokakları...Bence kesin yolunuz düşerse uğrayın!

Akşam da eve gelip, Papier Atelier siparişlerini tamamlamaya devam ettik. Çok heyecanlıyız; çünkü

yine bir sürü insan maketi yaptık!!
