Cadiz; feeling the smell of the ocean...

We left Valencia for Cadiz as our last stop of Spain trip. Unfortunately, I had fever
and didn't have much energy to visit any places,
we just swam in the ocean.
We stayed in a hotel near La Barrosa Beach, placed at the end of the cap.

The most difficult part of a trip is returning! We turned back to Madrid
to catch our flight to go back to our city; Istanbul.

What a wonderful trip; full of energy, walking, eating, drinking, and visiting
 every hidden corner of Spain!

Granada, a spirit of Andalusia

Granada was really different from the other Spain cities, here you can feel something different. You can see the Andalusian culture as well. Every corner, there are free tapas bars, musicians, buskers on the streets.

We stayed near river, at Albayzin district and there was amazing ambiance. Our hotel was
having a fine view of Alhambra Palace. Oh so good!..We also didn't forget to buy some Granada
traditional tea.

Then it was time to continue with Cadiz, near Atlantic Ocean, we are looking forward
to swimming again!

Valencia: A heaven for street art!

After Barcelona, we needed to take a rest for a while and Valencia was the best spot for it!
We swam, did sunbathing, and then ate amazing Catalan food.

There were many squares waiting to be explored so we did. Visited many places after
took a breath on the beach, did café and second hand stores hopping.

Also, it was impossible to not realize that Valencia streets had wonderful artists!

Te quiero Barcelona!

El Raval, Barcelona July 2012

Bar Marsella

After Madrid, it was time for heading to Barcelona! Although this city was so touristic in August,
we enjoyed there by searching for some local corners to hang out.
Gracia and Plaza San Agustin are the ones which are considered as more local.

We started from Barri Gothic, then continued with El Raval, Gracia, Barcelonetta,
El Born, El Libera so on. My favorite districts are Gracia and El Born, no doubt!
One of the buildings of Gaudi; Casa Battlo is my favorite one, so incredible as himself.

We visited several amazing shops; such as historical candle store; Cerreria Suburia
where you can find many candles with every color and shape. Also, Herborista del Rei,
a place which has many different kinds of natural stuff, one scene of Perfume

Among bars, I can say I really like Bar Marsella which is so weird and smells Absinthe:)

Adios!

Spain / July 2012.
