hello, I'm back

Hi everyone! Maybe you've noticed, or maybe not, we've had a big resistance movement in Istanbul,
even in whole country. This is probably considered as the biggest civil organization movement in the history of
my country. Against many enforcements, bans, and attitudes of the government, we unite to tell that
we're standing up for our rights! Everything began with a small protest for protecting some cutting
trees (under the name of gezi occupy), then it started to grow and spread over many cities
as well in Istanbul. These demonstrations are still going on, and I don't know when it ends...

Here are the some captures from last week and this week; one of my favorite flowers, a sneak peek
of my photo shooting (coming soon), picked flowers, my breakfast, me with my cousin's crown, a

Roads, spring and new places

I've been away from here for a while, cause last week we took a road- trip to the West of Turkey,

also I didn't feel good physically after this trip because of my sore throat...

I saw lots of beautiful things during this trip; such as flower fields by roads, many people who like

to live in  natural places and small towns, many animals, and lots of historical buildings.

We stopped by a train station to take photos and looked how it is :) I really like this place mostly!

Now, we have a "real" spring here in Istanbul, I hope I can get advantage of it as much as I do.

Bir süredir buralarda değildim; geçtiğimiz hafta çok güzel bir yolculuğa çıktık, sonrasında da (hatta halen)

kendimi iyi hissetmemeye başladım, bitmek bilmez bir boğaz ağrım var...

Yolculuk sırasında gördüğüm tarlalar, insanlar ve tarihi yerler bana yeteri kadar ilham verdi diyebilirim.

Çok yakında çektiğim fotoğrafları da paylaşacağım. Alpullu diye bir yerde tarihi tren istasyonunun çevresinde

keşfe çıktık ve fotoğraflar çektik, gerçekten böyle bakir yerlere bayılıyorum. 1923 yılında şeker fabrikasında

çalışanlar için yaptırılmış bu tren istasyonu, yolunuz o taraflara düşerse uğrayabilirsiniz.

Bahar geldi ve yapılacaklar listem kabarmaya başladı, umarım herkes için çok güzel bir bahar olur!

14 April 2013 / North of  Istanbul.

Walkin' on the streets

On friday, I was so eager to take pictures but AGAIN the weather got so bad! But still I didn't 

give up and me and my bf took a walk to the historical parts of my city. We visited some old apartments

and some streets that I really love. Despite the bad weather, I took some pics with our analog camera as

well. I hope I'll share them with you in 2 weeks.

Also "Istanbul Film Festival" was ended, I saw many great movies that I was really impressed...

I tried "Nathan's" to eat hot-dog that was okay, not so superb though... I wanna see the real one in

Coney Island Beach this summer, yay! :)

And for the first time in my life, I'm gonna take care of some plants, I hope I can do it

successfully.

Cuma günü bir açıp, bir kapayan havaya rağmen kendimi sevdiğim yerlere attım ve fotoğraf çektim.

Umarım kısa zamanda analog fotoğrafları da sizlerle paylaşabilirim. Sevdiğim tarihi apartmanları ve

sokakları ziyaret ettim.

Ayrıca İstanbul Film Festivali sona erdi ve resmen bir boşluk oluştu :) Alışmıştım her gün bir filme

gitmeye... Favorilerim; Yük ve Hayallerin Ötesinde filmleri. Cuma günü film öncesi acele bir şekilde;

City's deki Nathan's da sosisli yedik fakat beklediğim kadar iyi değildi.

Son haber olarak da; hayatımda ilk kez çiçek bakma işine giriştim, umarım başarılı olurum :)

Start to feel the spring!

I felt the spring for the first time in this year:)

Here is my saturday (a photo an hour) =

09:00 - Smell of spring (hyacinth)

10:00 - Made some colorful cupcakes to celebrate the spring

11:00 - Breakfast with some Turkish food; called "börek"

13:00 - Time to create some paper art, this time WOODY ALLEN! (click on it to see more)

time for selecting some movies for Istanbul Film Fest! and listening to music ♫ ♪ ♪ ♫ 

19:00 - Dinner with tortillas; put spices, minced meat, avacado, tomatoes, paprika and arugula

21:00 - Drinking wine and eating the most delious Cheddar cheese 

22:00 - Time to watch "Laurence Anyways" (me for the 2nd time)

24:00 - Be prepared to go out and dance with dubstep music of Re-spectralize in Pixie 

Outfit: Lace blouse - Frip'irium Vintage Store in Paris.

So good night, we danced all night and watched people who were "very" into dubstep :)
